Medusa carving on a door in the Marais

I used to live on the edge of the Marais, and I often passed by this cool scary Medusa face on an old wooden door. There are actually two of them, on twin doors. I just looked it up on Google Maps to confirm the address — 47 Rue Vieille du Temple — and Google mistook the face for a real person and blurred it out! I hope she didn't turn the Google Street View car to stone.
